Turn your used inkjet cartridges into cash!

RECYCLE and save 50% on your ink costs. Help protect the environment with the Repleo cartridge recycling program from Ink2image.

Repleo (Latin; to replenish, fill up, fill up again, fill, satisfy) is the new program from Ink2image that enables wide format printer users to turn their empty cartridges into cash and save 50% on ink costs.

Ink2image has developed remanufacturing methods to take empty original wide format cartridges and refill them with our latest color matched inks. The Repleo process means that original cartridges can be reused many times, helping to protect the environment and reducing our use of oil.

Repleo remanufactured cartridges are priced at approx. 50% less than new original cartridges, so customers also enjoy the added benefit of substantial savings in their printing costs. Ink2image will buy your empty original cartridges whether or not you use our inks, and pay for the shipping costs. Repleo remanufactured cartridges are available for purchase from our large inventory of original cartridges, without returning cartridges first.

How does the Repleo Program work?

The program has two parts – the supply of filled remanufactured cartridges, and the collection of empty original cartridges.

First, customers who want to order Repleo manufactured cartridges and save 50% on their printing costs simply order them from our website or call us at 719-260-6637. You don’t need original cartridges to return to us – we will supply you with filled remanufactured cartridges from our own inventory of original cartridges. When these cartridges have been used up, return then to us for remanufacturing again and we will give you a $ 2.00 credit against your next order for each cartridge returned.

Secondly, customers who have empty original cartridges to return should complete a cartridge return form. E-mail the completed form to us so that we can provide a return authorization number as well as details of shipping accounts – We cover the shipping costs on all returned cartridges! Upon receipt of the returned empty cartridges, an account credit will be processed.

How reliable are the Repleo inks?

The inks used in the Repleo process are the latest in a long line of award-winning inks from Ink2image, and are guaranteed to provide the same or better printer reliability as the original inks. We use specially developed additives that reduce jet clogging and head dry out. Our own tests have shown that the Repleo inks require less cleaning during operation, and start up quicker after long periods of non-use than the original inks. Color consistency is also assured with the Repleo inks as they are closely color matched to the existing inks, so that existing profiles and color setting can be happily used.

Can I use Repleo cartridges alongside original cartridges?

Yes, all the inks used in the Repleo process are freely mixable with the original inks, and you can swap over to Repleo inks one color at a time to enable existing cartridges to be fully used.

Are the Repleo inks archival?

We ensure that all inks we use in the Repleo program match or exceed the archival claims made with the original inks. We basically offer the same guarantee of archival life as the original machine manufacturer.

How does the Repleo program help protect the environment?

It is estimated that over 400 million inkjet cartridges are thrown away each year in the USA. The majority of these cartridges end up in landfills, and the plastic in these cartridges takes many years to degrade while leaching harmful chemicals into the soil. By using the Repleo program and recycling a cartridge ten times, a printer user is reducing the amount of plastic thrown away by 90%. Also, it takes approximately 4 quarts of oil to manufacture the average wide format inkjet cartridge. Recycling these cartridges through the Repleo program helps reduce our dependency on oil.

How much do you get for each returned cartridge?

We issue a $ 2.00 credit for each cartridge. This credit is not limited to use purchasing Repleo cartridges – it can be used against the purchase of any of these products: Canson, Hahnemuhle, Ink2Image, Lyson & Repleo Inks.

How do you send in empty cartridges to get credit?

If you have empty cartridges to send in, contact us at repleo@adventurecamphoto.com. We will send you the form that needs to be completed that includes instructions and the address to which the cartridges are to be sent. E-mail us a copy of the form and include a copy with your shipment.
